Coastal Value for Money Sails

White Sails Coastal sails are based on our race winning sail shapes, incorporating all the features of our Performance Cruising range. These sails are constructed from a good quality Dacron that would provide many years of happy cruising. The weave of this Fabric is not as tight as used in our Performance range which means that the Coastal sail will require reefing in normal reefing conditions, and does not like being pushed too hard , as it does not have the shape retention of the more expensive Fabrics.

Many “big name” Sail-Lofts only provide sails constructed from this Fabric to try and keep their prices low, where as we use it as our entry level Dacron. This Fabric will provide excellent cruising sails, and the occasional club race, but if you like to push your boat a little harder then Performance or Offshore is for you.

In this day and age nobody should have to buy Radial Head or Cross-cut down wind sails. This is not using Spinnaker Nylon to its best advantage. All White Sails spinnakers and Cruising Asymmetrics are totally Radial providing smooth sails that perform. To keep cost to a minimum Coastal Down wind sails are only available in Red , White and Blue.

With our Downwind sails we supply ATN snuffers. ATN is a company that only construct snuffers, and send them all around the world. All lines are internal for snag free hoisting and lowering. ATN snuffers are an excellent piece of engineering, especially when compared to some of the “dog collar” horrors some lofts supply.
